Dual Threat

Having the unique ability to excel as a dual threat can significantly elevate the overall value of what you have to offer, reaching levels that are often difficult to explain or quantify. I am certainly not talking about myself but rather Chere, an incredibly talented individual, who I had the chance to turn my camera on recently.

Chere and I have had the pleasure of collaborating on a number of different projects over the years, primarily with her serving as my talented makeup artist for many of my sessions. Some stunning shots from those sessions can be found sprinkled here throughout my website, highlighting her incredible skills. Her work is nothing short of amazing, and she has truly been my go-to makeup artist for several years now. Additionally, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to turn my camera on her during a special moment when she was pregnant with her son, which turned out to be an unforgettable and awesome session.

This time around, I was genuinely motivated to turn my camera on her because of an incredible session that I had seen her do with someone else, which left me feeling highly inspired and enthusiastic to work with her on this end of things. As it turns out, it coincided perfectly with her birthday, so a special birthday session was definitely on the table! Boy, looking back, I truly don’t feel that we came up short in any aspect of this amazing session. I mean, just take a look at these stunning images that we created together…

For all my fellow creatives out there, I’m excited to tell you that you absolutely need to get yourself a Chere, who is truly a remarkable dual threat on the creative side of things! Her talents elevate every project, making her an indispensable asset to any team.

Chere recently hinted at the possibility of retiring from the makeup side of things, and I passionately told her that she simply can't step away, especially after witnessing how incredibly well she did on her own makeup for this particular session. I have a few creative ideas and insightful tricks up my sleeve to keep her engaged and drawn to her truly wonderful talents.
